Client Expander is designed to function as an ongoing marketing command center. The relationship combines strategy, execution, maintenance, monitoring, and adaptation while keeping the design studio’s principal involved in decisions that genuinely require business or brand judgment.

The model is generally less suited to principals who want to personally direct individual tactics, choose and coordinate separate vendors themselves, or approve every routine campaign decision. The relationship also requires adequate supporting investment: marketing cannot manufacture the underlying portfolio, client experience, reputation, or business substance that it is intended to reveal.
High delegation does not mean zero participation. Client Expander seeks to remove routine marketing decisions from the principal while concentrating client involvement on the information and assets only the studio can provide.
| Client input | Status | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Budget | Required | Defines practical campaign resources and supporting investment. |
| Strong project photography | Required | Interior design marketing depends heavily on visible evidence of the work. |
| Reviews | Required | Reviews support customer authority, prospect vetting, and local visibility. |
| Designer-led video | Strongly recommended | Speaking on camera can build familiarity, rapport, and relational trust. |

Approval is reserved for decisions where it adds value. Routine campaign execution is generally handled without asking the client to manage most tactical choices.

Discovery is a business conversation used to determine fit and campaign direction. Onboarding is intentionally low-burden: an intake process captures the core facts, goals, preferences, and assets needed to begin.
Client Expander uses scheduled calls rather than an always-on telephone support model so conversations can receive focused attention and preparation. Clients currently have direct email access to Ken and Saroja, as well as direct access to the Client Expander technical and social teams, when suitable. Responsiveness means an appropriate balance of timeliness and thoroughness.
Monitoring is continuous across active campaign work. Periodic executive reviews synthesize performance, market position, opportunities, and risks rather than flooding principals with low-level tactical detail. When clients bring Client Expander an interview, award, promotional program, outside proposal, or other marketing opportunity, the agency evaluates it and takes the initiative on promoting it.

During the first six months, the desired experience is increasing ease, trust, and order, with relevant leading indicators beginning to show whether marketing conditions are improving. By approximately six to twelve months, those conditions have had more time to mature, and improved visibility has had more opportunity to translate into qualified inquiries. These are campaign-maturation expectations, not guarantees of projects or revenue.
Full-service marketing relationships typically begin with a one-year agreement and then move to month-to-month service. Long-term value comes from continued stewardship. There is no contractual lock-in.
Clients retain ownership of their core business assets, including their domain, website, social accounts, analytics, Google Search Console, client-supplied imagery, and content published into client-owned properties. Ownership and continuity of Client Expander-hosted or rented placements are governed by the engagement agreement.
